Client: POPCORE
The show POPCORE is an up-close & personal debate covering current events in popular culture. Its guests are under pressure to fight their corner and offer strong opinions on controversial pop-culture topics. The melting portraits of the guests and moderators depict the heat of being in the spotlight and the pressure to justify their thoughts in the fiery debates. The popsicle represents the colourful, acidic & juicy subjects they have to devour! Guests were photographed back stage then digitally painted.

A series of photo artworks created for the event-lighting system Tuuba. The concept was to show some of the colour range the lights are capable of, and the atmosphere coloured light can create. Giving some of the colours exotic and emotive names allowed me to photograph people and place them into fantastical environments, rich in the coloured light. Some of the artworks have digitally hand-painted elements to further emphasise the mood.
